Teachers, doctors and nurses. This is what the majority of students want to be that have chosed to to enter public Catalan universities in the coming school year. The popularity of studying for these careers at the seven public universities has shot up. One out of every four students has marked one of the above three careers as their first choice, according to the Department of Innovation, Universities and Business. Of the 42,679 students who have pre-registered for the new semester, 80.6% will be able to follow their chosen career path.
