Sixty-one people have died in accidents on Spanish roads since the past 14 days began the special operation Easter until 20 hours of this Monday, even festive in six autonomous communities. The casualties occurred until 20:00 am on Monday, there have been further 20 serious injuries and 34 minor. The worst day so far was on Sunday March 16, when nine people were killed.
The return operation of the Easter holiday launched by DGT expiring this midnight, as it is an official holiday in Catalonia, Valencia, the Balearic Islands, Navarre, the Basque Country and La Rioja.
The roads are more complicated this Monday at the entrance to the Basque Country and Catalonia.
