I'm surprised that you haven't picked up on an article today in "Vivir" (La Vanguardia) about the fascists in the ayuntamiento banning movement in street performers on the Ramblas in general and local living legend, the self-styled "Maradona of the Ramblas" in particular. Freedom of expression in the Condal City? Speak to the Stalinists in the Plaça St. Jauma. Just how the hell have they managed to peddle this idea of Barcelona as a cradle of diversity and expression for so long? |
