A woman has been seriously injured today in Benalmádena (Málaga) after being stabbed by her former partner, who then intentionally doused her with petrol and set fire to her, the man fled in the victim's car, however he has now been detained by police Local.

The arrested man, FCL, 46 from Cabra (Córdoba), has a restraining order issued by the Court of Violence against Women No. 3 in Malaga since last August.
A co-worker of the victim came to her aid and prevented the man from continuing the attack, the assailant, who was hooded, grabbed the car keys from his former partner and fled.

After an intense chase, the Local Police located him along with a 20 cm knifes, a cap, balaclava and gloves.

Given his aggressiveness, the police had to draw their firearms to prevent the man from inflicting injury to them.
