Competition Committee open inquiry against Pep Guardiola for calling the referee a liar in the Almería-Barca match

The Competition Committee opened an inquiry against FC Barcelona coach, Pep Guardiola, for calling the referee, Clos Gomez, a liar for misrepresenting the record of the match between Almeria with Barca. Because of the lack of official confirmation, several online sports media have reported the action to the Committee.

The Spanish referee had approached the Committee requesting the opening of a hearing against Pep Guardiola for his remarks against him last Friday. Following the inquiry, the Committee has met to review the arbitration request.

The legal services of the establishment of arbitration, after meeting on the afternoon of Monday, sent a letter to the Competition Committee accompanied by the various declarations from the Barcelona coach, which appeared in various media.
