FC Barcelona Andres Iniesta extends his contract with Barca until 2015 buyout 200 million euros.
Asked about his personal and professional status, Iniesta is recognized for "doing good" work and trying to "always give the best" of himself. "If children think of me as a good role model I am glad, if I am a mirror for them, I'd be delighted," he said.
Iniesta signed his new contract this afternoon in the presence of FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta, the new contract links the player to Barca until he is 31.
The player was "happy" and "grateful for the trust that Joan Laporta, 'Txiki' Begiristain and the board have shown in him. I will try to fulfil my dream, playing at this level and at such a club" he confessed.

Iniesta joined Barca in 1996 when he was 12. After several years at La Masia, the youth went to Barcelona B in the 2000/01 season.
His first team debut came in 2004 from the hand of Louis Van Gaal at a meeting of the Champions League Barca team that won against Bruges.
As it happens, the midfielder renewed his contract 48 hours earlier before a 'classic', on 18 November 2004. On that occasion, after signing his contract, Iniesta declared that "the renewal would be perfect if we win over Real Madrid in the Nou Camp" and it happened two days later, the team got the win over the 'whites' by 3 -- 0.
Five years later, after renewing his contract, again, 48 hours before the 'classic', Iniesta said that this week is being "very good week" and that to 'finish off the week with the a win on Sunday and return to the top of La Liga". beating Real Madrid 1-0 was great
