Girona. Maria Dolors Alibés, writer author of some forty children’s books, died yesterday at age 69
Among her works were 'Màquines fum i d'altres invents' (La Galera), illustrated by Pilarín Bayes, 'butxaques Boira to them' (La Galera) and 'A ploraner bounced' (La Galera).
The author was born in 1941 in Vidrà (Girona). Alibés collaborated with the publications 'Cavall Fort' and 'Tretze Vents', and the media companies 'Catalunya Radio' and 'Avui'.
Among her works were 'Màquines fum i d'altres invents' (La Galera), illustrated by Pilarín Bayes, 'butxaques Boira to them' (La Galera) and 'A ploraner bounced' (La Galera).
Right up to her death she remained active, as just this year her latest works were released, 'Superfantasmas in a supermarket' (Bruno) and 'Cricket gherkin' ( 'Grill cordill' in Catalan, both with Bruno).
