Imprisonment for one of the alleged ETA collaborators arrested in Vizcaya
Andreu estimated that there is reasonable and sufficient evidence that Urko Izaguirre "worked for the terrorist group ETA
The National Court Judge Fernando Andreu has ordered the unconditional imprisonment for one of the two suspected ETA collaborators arrested in Vizcaya on Tuesday, Urko Izagirre Iriarte, accused of a crime of collaboration with a terrorist organization for providing the van that the band used in the bombing of Calahorra. He released the second, Henry Noya, who Andreu imposed at the behest of the prosecution, fortnightly appearances and a prohibition on leaving the country.
Andreu estimated that there is reasonable and sufficient evidence that Urko Izaguirre "worked for the terrorist group ETA, providing coverage and providing the necessary infrastructure for the development of the illegal activities of the released members and other laws that provide their services for the organization". The judge believes there are sufficient indications that relate Izaguirre with the attack on the Civil Guard barracks in Calahorra (La Rioja), 21 March 2008.
