The love life of former Chelsea defender and England captain John Terry, continues to generate headlines. Many have dubbed Terry as the "Tiger Woods of football. Just as with the case of the golfer, the outing of his infidelity began to appear the names of other women.

Apart from John Terry's relationship with the French-born former model Vanessa Perroncel, when she was also the partner of Chelsea player Wayne Bridge, some British newspapers have published the list of the alleged defenders enthusiasts.

Terry has a predilection for models as they are the majority among their extramarital conquests: Jayne Connery, Nicola Ulian, Rebecca Ryan Linsey Dawn McKenzie, Emma Kearney, Lauren Pope and Alicia Douvall. It also highlights the pornstar Karina Clarke. Lianne Johnson, Shalimar Wimble and Jenny Barker are other women with whom the player could have had an "affair".

If John Terry lifts the World Cup next July in South Africa, it is likely that his alleged marital infidelity will be forgotten. Probably no one will remember his behaviour with the trophy in his hand. The same thing that could happen to Tiger Woods if, upon returning to the greens, he breaks Jack Nicklaus's record of 18 Grandslams.

The American golfer has lost his family and some sponsors, but will remain the world's highest-paid athlete in 2010, according to Forbes magazine.
