The mayor of Lloret de Mar, Xavier Crespo, demanded today, on behalf of 111 Catalan municipalities affected by the blackout because of the snowstorm last Monday, that utilities take responsibility.
Furthermore, they also demand that the Government put pressure on the companies to fully restore the service and to ensure it is working correctly, also they are asking for a review of protocols for civil protection actions to better address emergencies, and that helplines are opened immediately for the affected municipalities.
Also, Crespo wanted to thank all residents for their patience and understanding in areas affected by the blackout, and their unselfish support and the anonymous work of the operatives
