After the problems of the sector in 2009, the Geneva Motor Show "has proved its resilience," organizers said in a statement.

The Geneva Motor Show closed its doors with a record 692,000 visitors, a result that is 7 percent higher than last year and its organizers judged the figures as "positive". After the problems of the sector in 2009, the Geneva Motor Show "has proved its resilience," organizers said in a statement.

The Geneva Motor Show marked another year of the car industry’s strong tendency to go "green", accompanied by plans and models for the ’electric’ refuelling infrastructure technology.
Organizers announced that the next show takes place from 3 to 13 March 2011.
