Tobacco company Altadis increased by 15 cents the price of its main brands of cigarettes in Spain
The rise of the major brands of Altadis comes just days after Philip Morris rose 15 cents the price per pack of its major cigarette brands, which include Marlboro, Chesterfield and L&M.
Thus, with the price increase, which will take effect from today according to a resolution published in the Official Gazette (BOE),

Cigarette brands Fortuna, Nobel Ducados black and will cost EUR 3.15 compared to the previous price of 3 euros. Meanwhile, the price for a pack of blond Ducados will cost 2.95 euros, which is 10 cents more expensive compared to its previous amount.
With respect to other brands of tobacco, the price for a pack of BN is at 3.15 euros, up 15 cents, while Brooklyn's pack of passes to cost 3 euros, 15 cents more than before. Other brands of Altadis, Habanos, also raises its price by 15 cents to stand at 3.45 euros. For its part, the packs of JPS and West will rise 15 cents, to 2.85 euros and 3 euros, respectively, while Davidoff, both in its 'Classic' and 'Gold', has gone up 15 cents, up to 3.65 euros.
The rise of the major brands of Altadis comes just days after Philip Morris rose 15 cents the price per pack of its major cigarette brands, which include Marlboro, Chesterfield and L&M.
With the price increase, the pack of the iconic Marlboro brand was 3.60 euros, compared to previous price of 3.45 euros, while Marlboro Pocket format from three to 3.15 euros.
The U.S. multinational also raised the price of Chesterfield, to 3.35 euros, and L & M, to three euros.
